With its new flagship, the iQOO 15, iQOO has claimed a spot in India’s high-end market for 2025, thus challenging the OnePlus 15 and Realme’s GT 8 Pro, which also are fresh arrivals in the premium Android set. Besides the same price, the three units come with the most powerful CPUs and a great performance focus which makes it hard for customers to decide.
This comparison shows the differences in the design, hardware, and features of the three smartphones as they fight for the market of the ₹70,000 mobile phones.
The new iQOO model keeps its predecessor's overall appearance. The illumination around the camera module continues, and the frame is now flatter and more comfortable to hold.
OnePlus has abandoned the distinctive circular camera ring and adopted a square housing instead. Realme’s GT 8 Pro has an even more daring design with a rear camera platform that allows for swapping between different modules, thus transforming the phone's appearance and layout. That design may not attract everyone, but it certainly does create a contrast with the conventional layouts.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Qualcomm’s top-end chipset, powers all three phones. iQOO adds a Q3 gaming chip for the handling of heavy support during long gaming sessions. Realme has two extra chips in the arsenal: R1 for gaming and Hyper Vision AI for system AI.
OnePlus, on the other hand, has gone with what it calls Performance Tri-Chip system that is supposed to keep frame rates high, connectivity instant, and lag minimal during action use.
Realme has the biggest AMOLED display of 6.78 inches, a QHD+ panel that is rated for a peak of 6,000 nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz. OnePlus employs a 1.5K AMOLED panel that can go as high as 165Hz, which makes it easier for fast motion rendering.
The iQOO-6.85 inch Samsung M14 AMOLED display is the largest among the pack and has a resolution of 2K. As per company, the display is able to produce a maximum brightness of up to 6,000 nits.
All the three brands, iQOO, OnePlus, and Realme are employing the same triple-camera system consisting of three 50-megapixel sensors each. However, OnePlus associates its imaging with the new DetailMax engine.
On the contrary, Realme is going for the 200-megapixel telephoto camera which is a product of its new partnership with Ricoh. This is a significant hardware difference in the camera category since the other two phones used 50-megapixel telephoto units.
Battery capacities are witnessing a rise across the board this year and the iQOO and Realme are making the most of it by each using 7,000mAh units. iQOO not only offers 100W wired and 50W wireless but also Realme is giving 120W wired with the same wireless speed.
OnePlus goes a step further and offers a 7,300mAh battery and supports 120W wired charging alongside 50W wireless.
The trio of phones, namely iQOO, OnePlus, and Realme, have a common ground when it comes to starting price which is Rs 72,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, though bank benefits and platform deals are always in place.
